This Platform is designed to facilitate the listing and renting household items, providing an accessible marketplace where users can offer and rent everyday items such as furniture, appliances, tools, and other home goods. By using the Platform, you can rent items that you may only need temporarily or earn extra income by listing items you already own.
By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility
By registering on the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- All information you provide is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation: To use certain features of the Platform, you must register and create an account by providing personal information, including but not limited to, your name, email, and contact details.
3.2 Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Accuracy of Information: Users who list items (“Listers” or “Vendors”) are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and updated information regarding the items they make available for rent. Misleading descriptions or conditions of items are prohibited.
4.2 Item Ownership: Listers represent and warrant that they own or have the legal right to rent the item listed on the Platform.
4.3 Rental Agreement: Any rental arrangement entered into between a Lister and a Renter (those renting the item) is a private agreement between the two parties. The Platform only facilitates the transaction and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of the items.
4.4 Renter Responsibility: Renters agree to use the rented items responsibly and in accordance with any guidelines or conditions specified by the Lister. The Renter is responsible for the condition of the item during the rental period and must return it in the same condition as received, barring normal wear and tear.
5. Payment and Fees
5.1 Service Fees: The Platform charges a service fee of 1% of the total rental amount for every successful booking. This fee is deducted automatically from the total amount paid by the Renter. This service fee helps cover the costs of maintaining and improving the Platform, ensuring smooth transactions, and providing customer support.
5.2 Payment Processing: Payments between Listers and Renters are processed by third-party payment providers. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of these payment providers.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Cancellations by Renters: Renters may cancel a reservation within a specified period as outlined in the individual listing. The Platform is not responsible for any disputes arising from cancellations or refunds between Listers and Renters.
6.2 Cancellations by Listers: Listers may cancel a reservation before the item is delivered or rented out. Any payments made by the Renter will be refunded in accordance with the refund policy.
7. Prohibited Activities
By using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purposes.
- Post false, misleading, or inappropriate listings.
- Damage or misuse rented items.
- Engage in any fraudulent activity, including impersonating others or providing false information.
8. Disputes Between Users
The Platform is not responsible for resolving disputes between Listers and Renters. However, we encourage users to resolve issues amicably and may offer dispute resolution support at our discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim any liability for:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Any damage, loss, or injury arising from interactions between users.
10. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms.
11. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information.
12. Changes to the Terms
